Welcome to Murrindindi Food & Wine
Home of Murrindindi Food and Wine Inc
We are in the beautiful Murrindindi Shire, just 2 hours northeast of Melbourne. Our region is known for its rich agricultural, horticultural, viticultural, and aquaculture industries, all of which contribute to the food and wine scene here.
The Upper Goulburn Wine Region ( which also encompasses Mansfield ) is a hub for award-winning wines, including the Yea Valley.
Our microbreweries and distilleries produce an impressive array of beverages, including blueberry liqueurs, craft beers, cider, and whiskey.
Food is another major strength of our region, with an abundance of fresh produce available year-round.
Our cherries, trout, beef, and olives are just a few examples of the many local specialties.
Other notable food producers in our area include free-range eggs, organic vegetables, garlic, stone fruit, honey, olives and olive oil, truffles, grapes for wine, berries of all sorts, trout caviar, potatoes, cheese, green tea, sourdough bread, smoked goods, preserves, chutneys, sauces, and jams.
And for those with a sweet tooth, we have a wide range of cake makers, baked goods, and bakeries.
And, of course, no meal is complete without a cup of coffee from one of our local roasters.
Beyond food and drink, our region is also home to turf and seed production.
The aerospace, automotive, and houseboat manufacturing industries are here, as well as plant nurseries.
