Event goal 

To host an inclusive and collaborative event that brings together local businesses, employers, potential job seekers, career changers, service providers, and agencies for networking and facilitating connections.

 

Event description

The Murrindindi Jobs Expo is a valuable opportunity for local job seekers and businesses to connect, network, and learn about the latest industry trends, innovations, and opportunities.

By attending, job seekers and those looking for a possible career change can gain the chance to meet potential employers, learn about open positions and potential career paths, and gain valuable insights on how to improve their job search efforts.

For businesses, this is a unique opportunity to connect with potential employees and find the best talent in the region, as well as to network with other businesses, service providers, and industry leaders. It’s a great platform for attendees to make new contacts, expand their professional networks, and gain a deeper understanding of the local job market and its challenges.

Event themes 

Jobs, connections, and pathways: The Murrindindi Jobs Expo will provide a wealth of knowledge for young job seekers, career changers, and those wishing to gain employment. Attendees can learn about essential interview skills and learn from start-ups, established businesses, and innovators in a multitude of sectors.

By chatting with service providers and employers directly, job seekers can narrow their search and discover new career paths.

Small business, industry, and individual connections.
The event will include multiple networking opportunities throughout the day.
There will be mini bites: an opportunity to meet the employer and service provider, and 2 panels of regional experts to share their insights and answer questions.
Our skills in action will see demonstrations by a variety of local sectors of industry.

Event Activity 

Exhibitors: The exhibition part of the expo will feature 4 styles of spaces.

  • Individual spaces for you to set up with your own static display (x 9 spaces in total until sold out)
  • A 3-metre space that includes a table and chair with space for banners and promotional material  (14 spaces available until sold out )
  • A bar stool set with a small round bar table to encourage discussion. ( 7 spaces until sold out )
  • Weather-dependent outside display areas for demonstrations only have 3×3 spaces BYO your marquee and set up to showcase your techniques ( 5 spaces until sold out )

The venue will be filled with various businesses, service providers, and agencies representing different industries, such as education, training, and employment. The exhibition offers a unique opportunity for attendees to connect with and engage with a diverse range of providers and businesses.

Who can exhibit?

Any local business or organisation looking for additional team members or a provider of employment, educational, or business services.

Any private, local, and government agencies, health and aged care, manufacturing, food, realtors, agriculture, aquiculture, wine production, transport, retail, communication, innovation and/or start-ups, trades, digital providers, and education providers.

Who can attend?

Anyone.
